AIRPORTS AUTHORITY OF INDIA, WESTERN REGION: DIRECT HIRING OF NON-EXECUTIVES IN VARIOUS DISCIPLINES
Notification:- Established by an Act of Parliament, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) is a Government of India Public Sector Enterprise charged with developing, modernizing, maintaining, and overseeing the nation's ground and air aviation infrastructure. The Mini Ratna Category-1 Status has been granted to AAI.
The following Group-'C' positions at different airports in the aforementioned Western Region states are open to qualified applicants who are DOMICILE of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Goa, according to the Airports Authority of India, Western Region. AGE LIMIT AND RELAXATION :
A) AGE LIMIT: As of March 24, 2025, the maximum age is 30.
- The upper age restriction is lowered by three years for OBC (non-creamy layer) applicants and five years for SC/ST candidates. According to the Government of India's criteria, individuals who belong to the "non-creamy layer" are eligible for the OBC category vacancies.
- For PwBD applicants, the upper age restriction is relaxed by 10 years. This means that candidates in the SC/ST category would receive a maximum age relaxation of 15 years, which includes the 5 years allotted for their respective categories. Likewise, applicants in the OBC (NCL) category would be eligible for a maximum age of 13 years, which includes the three-year age relaxation intended for the OBC category. Candidates with PwBD should specify which category they fall under: SC, ST, OBC, or UR.
- Relaxation of age limit would be permissible to PwBD candidates who have minimum of 40% disability/deformity supported by a certificate of disability in the prescribed format issued on or before 24.03.2025 only by a Medical board duly constituted by the Central/State Government.
- Ex-servicemen's (ESM) length of service is extended by three years. Age relaxation is applied to ex-servicemen in accordance with periodically issued orders from the Government of India. Candidates for ESM should specify the category they fall under: SC, ST, OBC, UR, or EWS. ESM reservation shall be adhered to in accordance with periodically announced recommendations from the Government of India.
- The notified position is also open to disabled veterans and dependents of veterans killed in combat.
- Upper Age limit for Ex-Agniveers is relaxed by 03 years and age relaxation of 05 years will be applicable to the candidates of only first batch of Agnipath Scheme.
- Upper age limit is relaxed by 10 years for candidates who are in regular service of AAI.
- The upper age restriction is lowered to 35 years old for widows, divorced women, and women who have been judicially separated from their spouses and have not remarried, and it can reach 40 years old for members of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, if they can provide proof of:
(a) The husband's death certificate and, in the case of widows, an affidavit stating that the candidate has not remarried
(b) For women who are legally divorced, a certified copy of the court order confirming the divorce or judicial separation and an affidavit stating that the candidate has not remarried are required.
9.Only the birthdate listed on the certificates from the secondary or matriculation exams will be recognized. Any further requests to modify the date of birth will not be considered.
